Yquem 2003

Rich and voluptuous, the 2003 Yquem displays classic opulence despite the challenging vintage. Crème brûlée and orange marmalade dominate the nose, while the palate reveals greater complexity with fine acidity and citrus peel nuances. The wine shows admirable balance and development potential, though it lacks the ethereal precision of great Sauternes years. Still, this represents solid winemaking in a difficult season.
