Nearly two decades on, the 2004 remains remarkably youthful and powerful. Dark, brooding fruit mingles with leather, cedar and mountain herbs in a display of classic Mount Veeder intensity. The tannins are still quite firm and structured, providing excellent backbone for continued aging. This burly, characterful Cabernet will reward patience through 2035.
