Trotanoy 2009

The 2009 Trotanoy reveals a brooding, almost mysterious character from the outset. Cigar box and forest floor aromatics give way to medium-bodied red fruit laced with sage and white pepper. Fine-grained tannins provide structure without overwhelming the palate's saline-tinged finish. While promising, it lacks the persistence and depth of Trotanoy's finest expressions.
