Precise and focused, the 2011 Palmer shows classic Margaux elegance with blackberry and mineral-driven aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins that provide good structure without overwhelming the fruit. Clean and linear in style, it finishes with satisfying freshness and grip. Well-crafted if not spectacular, this should develop nicely through 2025.
