The 2011 Petrus displays classic elegance with redcurrant, raspberry and crushed stone minerality. Rose petal aromatics add lift to the refined nose. Medium-bodied yet rich, with velvety tannins and a rounded, spiced finish that shows impressive density. Perhaps emphasizes technique over pure terroir expression at this stage, but undeniably polished.
