The 2013 Lynch-Bages shows distinctive character with dark, brooding fruit and compelling aromatic complexity. Dried flowers, cloves and sage develop beautifully in the glass, adding layers of interest to the dark red and purple-toned core. The finish shows lovely precision and length, suggesting this vintage has found its stride despite the challenging year. Built on a foundation of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
