The 2013 Pavie is a study in sensual power and refinement. Smoke, cassis and graphite emerge first, followed by waves of dark, purplish fruit and white floral notes. Firm yet polished tannins provide excellent structure to a wine of considerable depth and concentration. One of the rare 2013s that demands patience. Drink 2020-2035.
