Dark fruit emerges slowly, wrapped in firm mountain tannins and bright acidity that gives the wine its distinctive punch. The purity of fruit is remarkable, though this clearly needs several more years to integrate fully. A fascinating departure from riper Merlot styles that should reward patience through 2028.
