Dark and brooding, the 2014 Alter Ego shows impressive gravitas for a second wine. Black cherry, plum, espresso and new leather build with serious intensity. The high percentage of Petit Verdot adds structure and a somber, contemplative character. Mid-weight yet concentrated, with fine balance throughout.
