Palmer Alter Ego 2015

The 2015 Alter Ego opens with lovely red fruit and floral aromatics that show real finesse. Medium-bodied with supple tannins and good purity on the attack. However, the wine lacks staying power in the glass, with an intrusive espresso note that becomes distracting over time. Shows promise initially but doesn't sustain its early charm.
