Pontet-Canet 2019

The 2019 Pontet-Canet is dense and explosive, with tremendous richness that builds in the glass. Opulent blackberry and boysenberry fruit interweave with crushed violet, pencil lead and hints of soy. This is one of the most powerful Pauillacs of the vintage, very juicy with plenty of rondeur on the spicy finish. The tannins are firm but ripe, structured for the long haul. Drink 2027-2050.
