Yquem 2019

Honeyed and seductive, the 2019 Yquem shows remarkable purity despite the challenging vintage conditions. Yellow plum, jasmine and honeysuckle emerge with classic Sauternes richness, while integrated oak adds subtle vanilla and crème brûlée notes. The palate is smooth and creamy, though it feels somewhat restrained at this early stage. Time will reveal greater complexity.
