Vibrant and focused, the 2020 Pagodes de Cos shows lovely energy for Saint-Estèphe. Red currant and cranberry aromatics are lifted by forest floor and mineral notes. Medium-bodied with supple tannins that feel polished rather than austere. The finish shows good length with subtle powdery texture. Needs a few years to fully flesh out.
