Dark and brooding, the 2020 Merlot shows Mount Veeder's volcanic intensity wrapped in plush fruit. The 24% Cabernet Franc adds backbone and structure to ripe black cherry and plum. Mocha, incense and licorice build with air, supported by firm but polished tannins. A powerhouse that rewards patience.
