The 2021 Alter Ego shows beautiful restraint and precision from Palmer's sandy soils. Dark plum and mocha are lifted by bright acidity and a distinctive blood orange note that adds real vibrancy. Cedar and new leather emerge with air, while the wine remains a touch closed at this stage. Should blossom beautifully over the next few years.
