Pontet-Canet 2021

The 2021 Pontet-Canet returns to its Pauillac roots with striking aromatic intensity and classical structure. Grilled herbs, incense, leather and lavender emerge with coaxing, all framed by beams of tannin and bright, salivating acidity. The increased Petit Verdot shows in the wine's intensely savory profile, while the tri-part aging regimen adds complexity without masking the terroir. Medium-bodied yet packed with character and direction.
