The 2022 Pontet-Canet displays remarkable refinement and energy, marking a stylistic evolution toward precision over power. Bright red and purple fruit mingles with lavender, rose petal and subtle mocha notes that build gracefully in the glass. The wine shows excellent focus and cut, with a mineral-driven backbone that promises exceptional aging potential. Less opulent than previous vintages, but gains tremendously in elegance and finesse.
